Why did it tug on my heart-strings when we cut Mr. C's hair today??? He needed it badly and I held off as long as I could. I used the excuse which was part true that if I cut it he will look bald since his hair is so blond and fine. He wanted one so bad too though. When I would ask if he wanted to go get a hair cut he would get so excited and say "yeah!"
So when she started cutting those cute little blond curls I teared up and felt sad. Was it an end to "babyness" and now he looks all grown up?? Was it that I just loved his little wild hair??? I can't put my finger on it but when I was talking to hubby about it tonight he teared up too. We love our little boys, they are growing to fast! So here are the pictures of his first little hair cut!

I gotta dollar....and more...
My boys are completely and absolutely spoiled by their grandparents, aunts and uncles! Their very sweet and thoughtful family sent them some nice little Valentines surprises and they all arrived on the same day. The boys were so excited! Loot galore!!! Here are the boys with their bounty and even a very proud Mr. C with his "dollar!"

Little fun with the fam!
We got away last weekend at the Old Market Embassy Suites Hotel. It was a lot of fun for the us to get out of the all the snow drifts and country cabin fever scene for a few days. It had been such a long time since I had gotten around stores I had quite the agenda to hit them all. I even forgot to get some stuff I wanted to do for more projects. However we did pause for a couple of breaks from my agenda and had lunch with a long time high school friend and her family and to go to Pizza Machine. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
We came home exhausted and still on Thursday I feel so tired but it was worth all the running!
Making Special Valentines...
The boys were on hand to help make the Valentines for extended family today.

A Few Things I Love...
I loved it...
Tonight while putting on the finishing touches for dinner my husband came up behind me and put his arms around me and kissed me on the check. This is nothing rare but I realized how much these small gestures mean to me. I love that man and the smallest thing to him meant the world to me. Even after almost 8 years it still makes my heart flutter.
I loved it...
When my little Mr. C wakes up from a nap and sings. I sometimes pause by the monitor before picking up out of the bed to listen to his sweet little voice, singing away. So sweet.
I loved it...
I finished helping the Gap Cowboy clean is very very messy room and he gets all excited and gives me hugs after hugs and thanks me repeatedly. The Gap Cowboy really loves to hug!
Some times I wish I had pink bows and ribbons to put in some cute little piggy tails but I am so very glad I have the loves of my life. My boys love to spoil and cherish me. How lucky a girl I am!
