I think every mom has had one of those days!

Zero words are necessary! Heaven forbid I should turn my back on this kid!

St Patty's Weekend!

In our town St Patty's is not just a day...it is a whole wild weekend. Our little towns claim to fame is the littlest biggest Irish celebration in our state and the world's largest Shamrock. Yes we even have a large stone off main street that they say is a "Blarney Stone!" So our town comes to life with lots of fun and festivities and yes, a lot of alcohol and parties. We pretty much try to stay away from the alcohol and parties but we do go to the fun things like the Dodge ball tournament, St Pats Parade and the Kiddie Carnival. Here are the pics and descriptions! Enjoy!
Thanks for all the comments on the last post! I love comments so keep them coming!

The boys loved getting together with their friends and watching the Dodge Ball Tourney.

Can anyone say Dodge Ball? Some our local friends on a team.

Watching the parade with our good friends and neighbors the Akindas!

Yep, that is a horse of a different color....GREEN! Poor white horse got in a fight with a can of green paint and I think the paint won! ;)

This is a silly tradition and I think for these people to parade down main like this they are already drunk. You wouldn't catch me alive or dead parading with them playing a toilet plunger!

Here is the Boy Scout float. Yes that is Jay in his Raiders sweatshirt and our friend Pati next to him...we called them the men in black, the Boy Scout Body guards!

This is the Shiners from our community. Jay has decided he wants to join them, not help raise money but so he can ride in one of those cars.

These kids were quite good on their unicycle.

This is Jayson's buddy's Dad's car. They live next door so we get to see this mustang quite often.

This is one of my YW...she plays the flute in the Jr High band.

A leprechaun in a go chart.

This was Jayson's favorite float. He was quite excited to see the machine gun the solider was carrying.

After the parade was over the guy tried to take the horse into one of the bars...yep, time to go home, everyone was getting ready to hit it hard again!

Kiddie Carnival...Jayson loves the games and Carson.....

Well Carson loves the animals they bring. He didn't play one game, except for the hoop shoot, and the rest of his tickets were spent on the horses and the petting zoo.

Jayson did take one ride on the horse though.

Carson on his 3rd horse of the day!

This is a fun pic of Jayson trying to be brave and hold the chick. It made him a little nervous as you may have noticed!

The petting zoo is a lot of fun for my boys, they just love the pony!

Carson loved the little chick and wanted to take him home. Along with all the rest of the animals too. Hmmm...my parents may know who that is like!

As you can tell, Carson is loving every minute of the animals, no fear!

Catch Up Time!

It has been a while, I know. I have a good excuse and I hope with in the next month we will have cute pictures of that little excuse! ;) We have been so busy aside from the pregnancy. In January I decided that Carson was bored of my tired pregnant self so I enrolled him in an arts and crafts preschool age class in town. He loves it and looks forward to his 3 times a week. We got a ton of snow in January after our Christmas traveling, which couldn't have happened at better timing since we traveled both ways on bare roads! The boys loved the snow and now that we are completely melted and have been enjoying 70 degree weather Carson is mad all "his snow" is gone!
Jayson has been very busy in boys scouts and has earned a number of new badges AND even won 2nd over all in the Pinewood Derby. We are so proud of him!
We have been traveling a lot and so has hubby. Jay and I went away for a weekend getaway with his company in the Black Hills, all expense paid and we even scored a $200 pre-paid visa for spending money. My brother and his good wife watched the boys and the boys had the time of their lives. Carson is still asking to go back and he just might get his wish here soon when the baby comes but we will see what happens and how it all goes down. If the baby cooperates my mom and dad will be here and I will be induced....in an ideal world that is!
Along with our travels we took the kids to a Children's Museum. I just love these types of museums and so do the boys. Jay and I just take one each and follow that one as they run from thing to thing. As I wandered I wondered how it would be with three. I guess we will find that all out here very soon!
We have been up to many more things but here is a ton of pics, I hope you enjoy what I chose to share! We will post more happens here in the next couple of days!
Thanks for being patient with me and following our blog!

Here is the infamous frog project from Carson's preschool. Many of you may have heard he got something lodged in his ear, when the E.N.T specialist pulled it out it matched the frog, color and it was a sticky foamy. It caused him some great pain but I hope he has learned to not stick things in his ears!

Yep, we got snow and the boys loved it! We finally broke down and found a wonderful deal on a snow blower and yes I was weak and we purchased one!

I just love the pictures my new camera takes! I wish I would have gotten a Nikon sooner! I love that I can take close ups like this and not have them be blurry or poor quality!

Another cute close up!

Pinewood Derby! Jayson's car is the army green with the silver stars. He designed it with his dad and picked out all the colors and wanted the army stars. Jay studied and studied how to make the best "arrow dynamic" car and it must have worked! It was one fast car!

He takes his scouting very very seriously. I am quite please. He now has quite the collection of badges he has earned that aren't in this picture. He loves to show off his badges!

This is his first race, the fist of many first place wins!

The race track was new and had the electronic timer on it. Pretty fancy for a small town like ours. This is Jayson's car in the lane that won. He won 1st in his pack and went up against all the kids.

He and his good friend Si won 1st in their pack and their cars were moving on to the winners circle!

Jay found out that there was a general entry race for family members that wanted to join in. So he even did a car for Carson so Carson felt like a hot shot getting a derby car too! Here he is waiting for his car to race! So big and cute!

Award ceremony...1st in the pack award!

Over all he got 2nd place and his buddy got 1st place. This was the best picture I took and it isn't that good, so sorry, it was hard to catch them smiling!

Children's Museum!

Carson driving the fire truck! Watch out!

Jayson loved this part of the exhibits, he loves to cook and BBQ is a favorite of his!

Anything Carson could drive he played with!

Lots of fun toys to play with!
